Our Tree & Family

Got to love this time of year!! Christmas just keeps getting better each year! Kayla is understanding Santa now. She just gets so excited to talk about him (even though she calls him snowman). :)

Our family in front of our tree

gosh... they are getting so big!! Just a year ago... Kayla had to hold Jacob up since he couldn't sit up on his own.

I think the presents are taking over the tree. :) Santa gifts aren't even pictured too!

We did cut back this year too!! honestly! :)

Jacob's first attempt to decorate a cookie. He did really good. I took my eyes off of him for 2 seconds though... took a look at him and he had cookie crumbs all over his mouth. Didn't even get a picture of the final cookie. :(

Kayla working hard decorating her cookie!

Frosting all over face.... For each time she scooped some frosting on her plate to decorate her cookies she has to spread some on her tongue. Hmmm.... can't even count how many "NO's" I said that night. :)

Santa Train 2009

First year doing this... might have to do it again! Went on the Santa Train.... Leaves North Bend and goes to Snoqualmie. Once you get to Snoqualmie you visit with Santa and have hot chocolate and cookies. Kids had so much fun! However, recommend not going on the oldest train(car).... thought it was going to fall apart. It was built in 1912. On way back went on a little bit newer one... much smoother ride. :)
(these pictures are in reverse order... so newer train on top)

Kayla asked for a bike from Santa.... Hmmmm..... :)

Jacob not too sure about the old rickity train. :)

Kayla the Enginneer

Jacob and Kayla playing together.... look at that tower!! Surprised Ba Ba (aka Jacob) didn't knock it down sooner. :)

Kayla's Christmas Concert

Walking up to the stage... She ran into the guy there cause she saw us and got so excited. :)

She see's us again... got all excited

singng her first song of the night (can't remember what it was... but she was singing!)

Look at her go!

Posing for the camera

Now they are singing Jingle Bells... shaking those bells. :)

All the preschoolers

All done... waiting to exit

Walking out of room... she poses for camera again... she was so happy!
Kayla's first Christmas Concert! Was so much fun. She had a mini concert for thanksgiving at the preschool/church back in November... did not compare to this one. The Thanksgiving one she basically just stood there... telling me afterwards that she was scared. So I was already prepared for this concert. :) The whole church was filled up with family and friends of all the little preschoolers. She did so good. We were so proud of her. She is a natural when it comes to singing and performing. Afterwards we celebrated and went out to dinner. Then went back home and watched the video we took of her. She loved watching herself. :)

Thanksgiving 2009

A wonderful Thanksgiving with the Family!

Kayla's Thanksgiving Party

Kayla's Thanksgiving party at her preschool. They all stood out in front of their classrooms and sang songs. She just stood their.... later she told me she was scared. Poor thing. They have a big christmas concert coming up... hopefully she will sing at least a little bit. However, they are going to be on an actual stage this time. :) We will see
